Kadai Shrimp Curry
Kadai Shrimp Curry is one of my favorite Indian curries. If are looking for an awesome Indian seafood curry recipe, this is just the one for you. It’s packed with flavors and can be adjusted to your taste.
Shrimp is something I always have in the freezer section at home and it comes really handy when you are looking to make a quick but flavorful dish. Shrimp doesn’t take a long time to cook. This recipe is perfect for those who are looking to make something quick for dinner after a long day.

Note:
You can make the Kadai Masala in advance so you can use it whenever you make it. This masala is not just for fish but also for chicken and veggies of your choice
Kadai Shrimp Curry

Ingredients
Kadai Masala
1tbsp cumin seeds
1tbsp black pepper
5 dry red chilies
1tbsp coriander seeds
Shrimp Curry
15-20 medium shrimp
1 large onion
1 medium tomato
½tsp turmeric
½tsp chili powder
1tbsp ginger and garlic paste
2 serrano peppers chopped
2tbsp kadai masala
¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
¼ cup oil
1 and a half cup of water
Salt to taste
Preparation
In a mixing bowl add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Add salt, turmeric and chili powder and let it sit for 10 mins at least
In a nonstick pot add cumin seeds, black pepper, coriander seeds, and dry red chilies and roast them till it’s fragrant, turn off the heat and grind it once at room temperature with some salt.
In a pot add oil, once the oil heats up add ginger and garlic paste, onions, and chopped chilies and cook till onion is soft and translucent. Add diced tomatoes and kadai masala and cook till the tomatoes are nice and soft.
Add marinated shrimp and cook till all the masala incorporates with shrimp.
Once the shrimp is coated with the masala add water and coriander leaves and let it simmer for 10 mins
And it's Readyyy!!! Serve it over a bed of rice or with Naan.
