THE BEST AIR FRYER FRIES RECIPE

I absolutely love fries. It’s like a portion of comfort food for me. But having fried food is not really healthy so I had to think of a better alternative and I decided to make fries in the air fryer! My first reaction was, I hardly could tell any difference. Finally something healthy yet yum!

THE BEST AIR FRYER FRIES RECIPE

prep 25 mins cook 15 mins total 40 mins

yield 2 servings

Ingredients

2 medium potatoes peeled and cut 

1tsp black pepper

1tsp garlic powder

1tsp chili powder

1tbsp corn starch

2 tbsp oil

Salt to taste

Non stick spray

Preparation

  1. Cut the potato in half lengthwise, then into 1/4-inch slices. Cut the slices into 1/4-inch sticks and soak in water for about 10 minutes. Drain the water and pat dry potatoes.

  2. In a bowl add potatoes, black pepper. Garlic powder, chili powder corn starch, and oil.

  3. Mix well till combined and let rest for about 10 minutes

  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375F for 2 minutes and once its preheated place the fries on the rack. Spray some non-stick oil on the rack before placing the fries. Do not stack fries over each other.

  5. Set the temperature at 375 F and set time to 15 minutes.

  6. Check occasionally. Ready when it’s golden brown and crispy

  7. Sprinkle with some kosher salt .
